We all have an idea of our perfect body but what is a perfect body anyway? Let’s forget what society throws at us and their idea of a perfect body. Why can’t the image of a perfect body just be a person who is healthy and fit? Being healthy and fit helps us build confidence which can help us forget what society tells us we should look like because we know that GOD never makes mistakes with His creations. We have a duty to take care of our bodies. We only have one, so let’s take care of it! There are a lot of ways we can stay fit and healthy but I have a few tips I use on a daily basis.
If you didn’t already know, a little change to your diet or routine can make a huge difference. First, I make sure that I drink plenty of water because water is foundation of our bodies. Water helps create life and helps us grow the same way it helps a plant. Water also gives us energy and helps with weight loss.
I’m very guilty of this: I’m a big time snacker! Who said that snacking has to be bad though? I usually opt for healthy junk foods that don’t contain extra preservatives. I also try to train at least 3 times a week during the times I’m most productive. What I mean is that some people get a lot of stuff done in the morning while others get stuff done in evening. (Shout out to my evening and night people! Not to say morning people suck… maybe a little?.. Just kidding.)
The little things count. Everyone can get stuck in a rut or lack the motivation to work out. It’s called being human so don’t feel too guilt. Even if you don’t feel like working out, try to do some cardio or instead of driving to the store, try walking. Trust me, it’s a workout in and of itself.
Besides eating healthy and working out I try to educate myself on nutrition. The more you learn, the more you’re able to feed your body the right foods. I think being healthy is more than eating healthy and exercising but also being able to educate and inspire others. It also has to do with being mentally healthy and having a better outlook on things because reaching fitness goal does not come easy. It’s something that requires hard work and determination! When you achieve that nothing will stop you from achieving anything else.
