Whenever we’re in the grocery store, we come across food that we assume is healthy but we should actually look deeper into the food that we eat because it can be our silent killer. We might enjoy them but we don’t want to see the results when we’re older.
I encourage people to eat gluten-free because of the effects of gluten on our bodies. Gluten can damage the lining of our stomach and can cause other aliments like eczema for example. Some people switch to gluten-free products thinking that they’re on the straight path but are actually doing their body haram because the gluten free products are loaded with sugar. When you consume a lot of sugar, it can cause inflammation in the body and give food to bad bacteria. Our bodies do need sugar to survive but I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying “too much of a good thing is a bad thing”.
Gluten free products are generally made of processed carbohydrates and processed sugar. If you’re trying to go gluten-free there are things that you need cut out such as processed foods that contain extra sugar and additives that can be dangerous for your health. It’s very important to increase the consumption of the good bacteria – known as probotics – to keep the balance of the normal flora in your stomach.
It’s very important to research before starting a diet so that you can make sure whatever diet you choose to follow meets your needs for overall health. Remember everyone is different. One diet may not work for someone else because everyone’s body reacts to different things, so there’s no such things as a perfect diet. Just enjoy the journey on healthier lifestyle!
